Welcome to the Infernium modding landing page. Here you will find tutorials and resources to start modding Infernium. If you are searching for mods to download, check here and the workshop of Infernium.

Download Mods[]

Your main source to download mods is the steam workshop. However, if your copy of Infernium is from GOG or Humble Bundle you can still play mods! Hopefully in the future you will be able to find mods on ModDb too and other websites. Feel free to expand this page with new info of mod downloading sites.

If you download the mods by yourself, to play them you will need to place the .pak file of the mod inside of Infernium\Game\Inferno\Content\Paks\Mods

Develop Mods[]

You can become a mod developer too! With some quick steps you will learn how to start modding Infernium. Also, if you have experience with UE4, it will be easier than ever!

Set up the tools and package a new mod[]

In this tutorial you will learn how to set up the files and Unreal Engine to be able to develop for Infernium. Remember you will need UE4.16.3 to open the modding tools. It is also really adviced to make a copy of the original modding project.

A walkthrough of the assets and levels of the modding tools. Get familiar with them and start developing easy and quick!

Change something in Infernium[]

In this tutorial you will learn how to change something pre-existing in Infernium and the main campaign. You will change the Cloak of the enemies to some texture of your own.

Expand Infernium[]

The big bad boy. Learn how to create your own campaigns and expansions to Infernium by making a persistent level with sublevels, new purgatory, your own savegame system, permadeath and win conditions and new environments!

Simple Map without savegame or purgatory[]

Tutorial showing how to create a really, really simple map for Infernium without a purgatory or savegame. This means every time you die the map will reset to it's original condition and the player will instantly reespawn.

Upload Mod to Steam Workshop[]

The end step. Here you will learn how to upload using a tool provided with Infernium your mod to steam workshop.

Unreal Engine 4 Starter Tutorials[]

To mod Infernium you will use Unreal Engine 4. If you have no idea of UE4 here is the official beginner's tutorials from Epic Games. We stronly encourage you to also visit the UE4 wiki,the answer hub and forums for usefull info!
